Abstract Economic development in Sub Saharan African countries is strongly tied to households' ability cope with exogenous events affecting their well-being. Using data from the Lesotho Child Grant Program (CGP) we provide evidence on presence of any spillover effect program non-eligible households living treated villages and whether food security nutrition are influenced by a particular network structure. We take advantage information each household's received disbursed monetary transfers build set indicators representing quantitatively qualitatively architecture household. find relevant effects CGP embedded social network. Geographical proximity seems be positive for access food.
